To be eligible for the Five Star Bank Standard Money Marketing account with a 12-month introductory rate, a $10,000 minimum deposit of new-to-Five Star Bank money not previously on deposit with Five Star Bank in the past 90 days is required at account opening. For Standard Money Market accounts (with the new-to-Five Star Bank money requirement), the standard rate for balances $0.01 and above is 4.89%. To open the Five Star Bank Standard Money Market account with less than $10,000 of new-to-Five Star Bank money, the minimum opening deposit is $25.00, it must be opened in branch, and standard rates will apply. For Standard Money Market accounts (without the new-to-Five Star Bank money requirement), the standard rate for balances $0.01 and above is 0.05%. Rates are as of 07/24/2023. You must open the account in branch or online by 10/21/2023. You must be a U.S. resident with a physical address in NY, NJ, PA, MA, MD, or FL. Customers with previous Five Star Bank deposit accounts closed with a negative balance are not eligible. Business and Municipal customers are not eligible.
