Make a Payment:

For timely payment of insurance bills, we recommend mailing payments directly to the insurance carrier listed on you bill. 
 
Customers may also sign up to have SDN Insurance® manage their payments with insurance carriers. To enroll in this service, please call (716) 633-3400.


Claim Management:

Personal Customers Commercial Customers
Please report your claim as soon as possible directly to your insurance company. It will be helpful to have your policy number ready when you make the call.
  • If you have an auto claim, please provide as much information as possible regarding all vehicles, drivers, passengers and pedestrians involved in the accident including name/address/phone, insurance company, policy number, license plate number, and police report number. NOTE: You must report within 10 days any accident occurring in New York State causing a fatality, personal injury or, damage over $1000 to the property of any one person.
  • If you have a property claim, please take necessary and reasonable steps to protect your property from further damage including emergency or temporary repairs, boarding up or tree removal.
During normal business hours please contact your SDN Claims Representative to report your loss OR you may contact your insurance company directly by using the information listed below.
  • If you have an auto claim, please provide as much information as possible regarding all vehicles, drivers, passengers and pedestrians involved in the accident including. name/address/phone, insurance company, policy number, license plate number, and police report number. NOTE: You must report with 10 days any accident occurring in New York State causing a fatality, personal injury or, damage over $1000 to the property of any one person.
  • If you have an auto/glass claim, please report directly to your auto insurance carrier
  • If you have a property claim, please take necessary and reasonable steps to protect your property from further damage including emergency or temporary repairs, boarding up or, tree removal.
  • If you have a workers compensation claim, obtain emergency treatment for the injured employee, if necessary or, direct them to seek appropriate medical treatment. All Workers Compensation claims should be reported by the employer directly to the insurance carrier, either telephonically or, electronically via the carrier website. NOTE: The Employer’s First Report of Injury is required within 10 days from the date of accident. The NYS Workers Compensation Board requires all employers to report any injury of one day beyond the working day or shift on which the accident occurred OR any injury requiring medical care beyond 2 first-aid treatments.
