Ryan J. Fogle has joined the Bank as Vice President, Commercial & Industrial Banker. In this role, he is responsible for cultivating external relationships with centers of influence and business owners, developing and managing a portfolio of new and existing commercial clients, and developing full banking relationships with commercial clients across the Bank’s operating footprint.
Fogle is a graduate of Buffalo State College, SUNY and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. Community support activities include service as volunteer and Sponsorship Committee Chair for Sweet Expectations to benefit FeedMore WNY and Director for the University at Buffalo School of Management Alumni Association. Fogle is based is in Five Star Bank’s Buffalo Regional Office in Amherst.

Thomas S. Nairn has joined the Bank as Senior Commercial & Industrial Portfolio Manager. In this role, he is responsible for assisting Commercial & Industrial Relationship Managers in servicing and managing client loans and relationships across the Bank’s operating footprint.
Nairn is a graduate of the Lycoming College Institute for Management Studies. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Service Leadership & Innovation as well as a Project Management Advanced Professional Certificate from Rochester Institute of Technology. Nairn is a Certified Lease & Finance Professional. He is based at Five Star Bank’s Regional Administrative Center in downtown Rochester.

Sara Smith has joined the Bank as Senior Commercial & Industrial Portfolio Manager. In this role, she is responsible for assisting Commercial & Industrial Relationship Managers in servicing and managing client loans and relationships across the Bank’s operating footprint.
Smith most recently served as Business Service Officer for KeyBank. She previously served as Portfolio Administrator and in retail branch management for First Niagara Bank. Smith is a graduate of SUNY Oswego and Leadership Greater Syracuse. Community support activities include the local PTA and volunteering for local youth sports programs.
