Five Star Bank is happy to welcome several new team members, and to announce several new promotions.
New Hires
Laurie Wisniewski
Director of Corporate Planning and Facilities
Laurie Wisniewski has joined the Bank as Director of Corporate Planning and Facilities, leading enterprise-wide program management and serving as the primary point of contact for all matters related to existing and new Five Star Bank branches and corporate offices. Wisniewski comes to Five Star Bank with 20 years of progressive experience in portfolio, program and project management. She most recently served as Director of Portfolio Management for HealthNow New York. Previously, she served as Planning and Project Manager of Facilities for First Niagara Bank, N.A. and as Project Manager, Construction & Development for Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation.
MariA Barth
Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Real Estate Banker
Maria Barth has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Real Estate Banker. Barth is responsible for cultivating and managing full banking relationships with commercial real estate developers across Western New York. Barth has more than 30 years of commercial real estate (CRE) banking experience including progressive leadership roles and managing large CRE portfolios in the Greater Buffalo Region. She has deep expertise in all commercial real estate property types and financing structures. Prior to joining Five Star Bank, she served as CRE Lender and Senior Vice President for BankOnBuffalo. Previously, she held CRE Lender roles at First Niagara Bank/KeyBank and HSBC Bank.
AngelA Indelicato-Matar
First vice President, Commercial Real Estate Banker
Angela Indelicato-Matar has joined the Bank as First Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Banker. Indelicato-Matar is responsible for cultivating and managing full banking relationships with commercial real estate developers in the Buffalo area. Indelicato-Matar has more than 25 years of commercial real estate lending, commercial underwriting and financial analysis experience. Craig Burton

Besides our new team members joining, we are also excited to announce the following promotions. Craig Burton has been named Finger Lakes/Southern Tier NY Regional President in addition to his role as Commercial Real Estate Executive. Burton continues to lead the Bank’s commercial real estate lending platform, and as Regional President, he provides commercial business line leadership by actively supporting customer and prospect development across all business lines. He also represents the Bank in the community by participating in civic activities to support the community and foster a positive presence and reputation. Burton has more than 30 years of commercial mortgage and real estate experience in Upstate New York. He joined Five Star Bank in 2016, establishing and managing the Bank’s commercial real estate loan portfolio through a period of significant growth and expansion in construction and permanent financing and the establishment of tax credit investing, affordable housing financing and interest rate derivative platforms.

Alison Miller has been named Central NY Regional President and Commercial and Industrial Executive. In this role, Miller leads the Bank’s commercial and industrial lending platform and provides commercial business line leadership by actively supporting customer and prospect development across all business lines. She also represents the Bank in the community by participating in civic activities to support the community and foster a positive presence and reputation. Miller has more than 25 years of commercial banking experience in Central New York. She joined Five Star Bank in 2018 as Commercial Market Executive and has effectively grown the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio in the region.

Finally, Patrick Keating has been named Western NY Regional President and Commercial Market Executive. As Regional President, he provides commercial business line leadership by actively supporting customer and prospect development across all business lines and represents the Bank in the community by participating in civic activities to support the community and foster a positive presence and reputation. As Commercial Market Executive, Keating is responsible for building commercial relationships, growing the Bank’s commercial real estate loan portfolio, and increasing awareness of the Five Star Bank brand in the Western New York region. Keating joined Five Star Bank in 2013 as Vice President, Commercial Banking.
