Minor changes to the wire creation form are being implemented to ensure all required data fields are captured and mapped properly across financial institutions. Most notably:
  • Beneficiary FI Address is now a required field
  • IMAD field has be renamed ‘Identifier’
Although simple in nature, these adjustments will reduce delays caused by incomplete or inconsistent data and will make for a better payment experience.
Due to the industrywide changes taking effect, wire services will be unavailable over the weekend. Any requests submitted between 7 pm Friday and 11:59 pm Sunday will be rejected and asked to be submitted Monday in the new format. Services will resume on Monday, July 14, 2025.
We encourage clients with recurring payments to log in to Digital Banking the morning of July 14, 2025 to review any payment series. If a message at the top of the form states there are errors, we recommend you stop the current recurring payment to create a new series with required data provided. This will reduce the chances of your payment being rejected at other points in the process.
An error message will appear at the top of the form stating if any payments are incomplete. The impacted fields will be highlighted in red where edits are needed. You will need to correct the necessary fields for your payment to be processed without error.
Clients with existing templates should log in to Digital Banking the morning of July 14, 2025 to review existing payments. If a message at the top of the form states there are errors, we recommend you stop the current recurring payment to create a new series with required data provided.
We will be migrating to the ISO 20022 payment standard on July 14, 2025. Please check any payments scheduled to process on this date prior to migration.
We are committed to minimizing client impact during this change. Our team will be closely monitoring all wires submitted on the migration day to ensure payments are processing as expected.
Templates will change for international wires. For support regarding foreign/international wires, please contact your Relationship Manager.
Yes. All new data fields that accompany a wire payment credit or debit will appear in the data file provided.
