Supporting Stability and Independence in Rochester

“Stable housing is foundational to a young person’s future,” said Karla J.L. Gadley, Community Development Director at Five Star Bank. “The Center for Youth meets young people at critical moments with safe housing and trusted support, and we’re proud to help expand those services locally.”

The Center for Youth – the only youth serving agency in Rochester dedicated specifically to serving individuals ages 1

2 to 24 experiencing homelessness and food insecurity – will use the grant to strengthen its transitional living programs. These sites typically house residents in a structured setting designed to support personal growth and stability.
